QUICKBOOKS ESSENTIALS: GETTING STARTED

Get your QuickBooks set up out of the box with a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Understand your lists, register, and forms, learn how to navigate through the layout efficiently, set up your chart of accounts to properly track information, and enter basic items. This workshop is intended for those new to and not yet on QuickBooks. Laptops optional.

Mac users: live demonstrations will be presented with PC versions of the software. Mac users of QuickBooks 2009 for Mac and later should be able to follow along without a problem; Mac users of versions pre-dating QuickBooks 2009 for Mac may want to consider attending QuickBooks Essentials: Mac.

This workshop is part of our Business Essentials series, comprised of six topics: Business Plan Essentials, Business Research Essentials, Financial Projections Essentials, Marketing Plan Essentials, Start-up Essentials, and QuickBooks Essentials. These workshops may be attended as a series or individually to suit your needs (more about Business Essentials).

  • Minimum attendence: In order to run our workshops, the Boulder SBDC has to reach a minimum number of pre-registrations, two business days before the scheduled session.  Please be sure to pre-register in advance so we know you plan to attend!  If we do not receive the minimum, we will advise registrants two days prior that we need to reschedule or cancel the session.  Full refunds will be issued.

  • Cancellations/no-shows: If you are pre-registered for an event and advise us two business days prior that you need to cancel, we will issue a full refund.  No refunds will be issued for "no-shows" or cancellations requested less than two business days prior to an event.
