Complete or refine your business plan, with an emphasis on understanding your market and developing financials.  Each business plan component will be explained, along with information about additional resources that will be helpful in completing each section.  A must for any entrepreneur, especially for those seeking funding or in the early stages of their business growth.

Presenter Bios:  
 
Tron Welch brings 15 years of financial management experience to Welch Financial Planning.  He began his career with a BS in accounting from Indiana University and an MBA from Washington University.  His expertise lies in taking complex scenarios and creating easy to follow financial plans.
Prior to founding Welch Financial, Tron's work experience includes financial advising at AIG and American Express, for both clients and company employees.  He also worked for Amsted Industries, a private manufacturing company.  His corporate career culminated as the Division Controller, overseeing sales of $120 million and 1,000 employees.
In 2007, Tron started Welch Financial Planning in his hometown of Boulder, Colorado.  Tron takes pride in his ability to educate and collaborate with his clients in developing planning solutions.  he is also dedicated to the community and plays an important role in various organizations:

Diana Royce Smith consults on organizational trouble-shooting, problem-solving, and the things that keep executives up at night.
She's headed the management consulting firm, Royce Arbour, Inc., for 25 years. There, Diana leverages her career in business, government and private-non-profit management to enhance organizational performance by offering Hands-On Help for Management.
Diana has headed five volunteer Councils for the Boulder Chamber, where she was named Volunteer of the Year and a member of the Charter Class of Leadership Boulder. Her many civic and professional activities include 3 years as President of the Board of the Colorado Enterprise Fund, providing loans and technical assistance to non-bankable businesses. 
As a member of the National Speakers Association, Diana is known as “The Corporate StoryTeller”.  She speaks on pricing, networking, marketing, and on Futurist Leadership, based on extensive consultation in corporate strategic planning.

  • Minimum Attendance: In order to run our workshops, the Boulder SBDC has to reach a minimum number of pre-registrations, two business days before the scheduled session. Please be sure to pre-register in advance so we know you plan to attend! If we do not receive the minimum, we will advise registrants two days prior that we need to reschedule or cancel the session. Full refunds will be issued.

  • Cancelations/No-Shows: If you are pre-registered for an event and advise us two business days prior that you need to cancel, we will issue a full refund. No refunds will be issued for "no shows" or cancellations requested less than two business days prior to an event.
